On a corner in Covent Garden, just opposite the rather more famous eponymous club, this establishment has a tiny restaurant at ground level and a slightly larger wine bar (where you can also eat) downstairs.
The menu (vaguely French) looks tempting but most of our choices were disappointing - the roasted leeks that came with my duck breast were huge and therefore tough as old boots, and a boeuf bourguignon was rather watery and looked distinctly unappetising.
However there is a good selection of wines at reasonable prices (as the name might suggest!), and once we adjourned downstairs for some late drinking the place suddenly seemed altogether more fun. Mid price.
